On 4 June 2026, the China–Greece Media & Industry High-Level Dialogue, jointly organized by People’s Daily and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Greece, was successfully held in Athens. Representatives from media organizations, academia, technology companies, and industry sectors from both China and Greece gathered to discuss innovation, cultural communication, and industrial development in the age of artificial intelligence.
The event featured two thematic panel discussions: “From Digitization to Intelligentization: How AI Reshapes the Global Narrative of Ancient Civilizations” and “From Digital Transformation to Smart Ecosystems: AI Guiding Deep Industrial Integration and Sustainable Development.” Participants exchanged views on the opportunities and challenges brought by AI to media innovation, industrial upgrading, and international cooperation.
An AI robot demonstration and a media cooperation signing ceremony were also held during the event, further strengthening exchanges between Chinese and Greek media organizations and contributing to the development of China–Greece cooperation.
