On July 2, 2024, Mayor Chen Zhichang led a delegation from Nanjing on an official visit to Greece and held the Athens–Nanjing Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Exchange Conference. The event further deepened cultural and people-to-people exchanges, promoted the inheritance and development of cultural traditions, and opened a new chapter in civilizational dialogue and mutual learning.
